A city that never sleeps–The glittery shine of this place will make you believe that not even for once does this city shut its eyes. It will keep on making you watch some new and amazing. So I thought that since almost everybody of us has been to Singapore but let us spot some amusing places to visit without which the tour to Singapore might seem incomplete.

So I would like to start it with Merlion Park which has a lion’s head and a fish’s body and is a national icon. The tall Merlion sculpture is situated at the mouth of Singapore River. There is a small story which is woven behind this Merlionpark which says that a man named Sang NilaUtama, the Palembang king had first seen the lion on the island of Temaesk. He was so amazed and amused to see this sculpture that he renamed the ‘Singapura City’ as the ‘Lion City’

Across the bay towards the north of the Singapore River you will find a golden glittery world class theatre across the bay which always has some performances to showcase and the Esplanade theatre is often known as ‘The Durians’ by the people of Singapore. Apart from the performances and the shows people love to spectacle the scenic outdoor view. It is completely mesmerizing to see Esplanade overlooking Singapore river and locating itself very comfortably between the Merlion Park and Singapore Flyer.

Singapore Flyer has a breathtaking view with world’s largest observation wheel standing at 165 meters from the ground. Chinatown is another heritage center which shows you how the Chinese people used to live earlier and you will also find shops for Chinese crafts, ornaments and antiques. It will make you witness the rich cultural heritage of the place by giving you an experience of tight quarters of a typical China.

You will be spoilt with the kind of choices you find in the orchard road. It is the shopper’s paradise where you will find the International labels and mid-market brands and you will also find Popular shopping malls down that strip are Ngee Ann City,The Paragon, Centrepoint, Wheelock Place and Wisma Atria. As you go towards the south you will find Sentosaisland which has a lot of recreational activities for all age groups. It has assembled all the natural beauty to make you spell bound at the first sight.

Singapore has so much to offer that anybody who is planning a trip to Singapore should have ample time to explore all the beautiful places the city has and even though you will get tired but the city will never sleep.
